free wifi @ starbucks??
Ive been getting different answers from people.
I need to get free wi-fi later tonight, but idk if Starbucks lets you use the free internet if you just buy a smoothie or a coffee. I’m in downtown Manhattan, financial district if it matters. I read that you get 2hrs of wifi when you use your registered Starbucks card, but I don’t have a Starbucks card yet, so i cant register it. If i buy one at the store now, will i be able to get internet right after?? i rlly need to use wifi tonight, so please let me know. i dont want to go all the way there w/my heavy laptop bag and have them tell me i cant use the wifi so id appreciate the info in advance.
also, where are other locations where i can get free wifi? that is safe!!! starbucks wifi is safe and no one can see which sites i visited or any passwords i entered right??? let me know some other locations plz!!

You do need to have a registered card to get the “perks” of free wi-fi @ Starbucks. otherwise it does cost you like 9.99. The problem with loading a card with money right then is…you need to get on line to register it. I hope this helped you out!!
