Why do liberals hate capitalism until they are the ones getting the money?
I went into a starbucks to get something to drink and noticed the prices for coffee, formally the cheapest drink on the planet, and wondered where the justification was for such high prices. But anyway,I was there for something cold, like water would have been nice. When I asked for some water, the girl had never heard of it before, so I decided to go ahead and try the lemonade/tea combo. After I paid the extra dollar for it (other than just tea), she said, “Oh! I forgot. We’re out of that, would you like just tea?” and I said “Ok.”
She gave me my tea and then kind of looked at me like, “We’re not going to make a scene over that dollar are we?”….hmmm. So I took my expensive tea ,whose price must have included the gratuity and walked out. Upon sipping the tea twice, the cup was now empty except for ice, which the cup had been filled to the top with. Well I guess I got the water I originally wanted.
Starbucks is for fools. For one thing, they burn the beans. It tastes terrible.
