How do I use my cappucino machine?

It looks something like this:

well i know you brew the expresso under that little cup thing with the black handle, you put a little mug under there and brew it but i have no idea on the time or measurements, and that silver straw looking thing that points down is where you steam the milk, you probably have to add water in the top or something and the steamer takes a little bit to warm up and it will start shooting steam out of little holes, you put your cup up over where the steam is coming out so your milk will get hot and foamy, then you mix the espresso, steamed milk, and some vanilla extract and suger, and voila, you got a vanilla latte (not so foamy) or cappicino (very light and foamy) good luck, hope i helped a little..
