keurig water filter

dripping water when using keurig “my cup”?

does anyone else have that little gray piece called my cup for the keurig coffee maker?..its a little reusable filter you can put your own coffee in instead of buying the k-cups all of the time..well anyways..i bought it thinking itd be a good idea but everytime i use it & brew a cup of coffee sooo much excess water spills out into the cup instead of just the coffee!..anyone know why this is happening?..ive reread the directions(it really isnt that hard) thinking im doing something wrong..ive had someone else check it out but we cant figure it out.
it definately doesnt fit snug at all..i can twist it around..move it up and down w/no problems at all..the black piece fits snug but as soon as i put the gray one in its all over from there

you take the black piece out, put coffee in the little filter, and put the grey cap on….it should fit pretty snug, if the cap is not snug water will not go in to the right place. Also make sure you clean filter after each use and don’t over pack it with coffee.

The best coffee is always the freshest coffee. Thats why it makes no sense to brew by the pot: by the time you get around to drinking most of the joe its been sitting in a carafe (or worse on top of a burner) going more bitter and stale with each minute. The Breville single-cup brewer takes a different tack. It makes coffee one cup at a time so each cup tastes as fresh as the first one in the pot….

Keurig 5072 Water Filter Replacement

Considering that water makes up over 95-percent of each cup of coffee (even if you added a copius amount of sugar), microscopic particles and minerals can contaminate the taste of even the best cup of coffee or tea.
